Install NOMOS in Word

The company story and Word walkthrough live on the home page. This page is the install path: Ask → Insert → Continue drafting → Review, inside the document. Requires a supported Microsoft 365 setup.

What the add-in file is

The “manifest” is an Office add-in configuration file (nomos-word-manifest.xml). Word reads it to load NOMOS. Opening it in a browser shows raw XML — that is normal, and not the product.

Sideload on Mac Word

  1. Download the add-in file above.
  2. In Word: Insert → Add-ins → My Add-ins → Upload My Add-in (or Weblink).
  3. Choose nomos-word-manifest.xml.
  4. On the Home ribbon, open Nomos for Word.

What you can do

  • Ask — grounded Q&A from licensed legislation, with sources.
  • Insert — place the answer at the cursor.
  • Continue drafting — keep writing from that research.
  • Review — check a selection against retrieved Acts.
