Grounded research
Answers are built from retrieved excerpts. When retrieval cannot find an on-point source, Nomos says so instead of inventing statutory content.
Trust
Nomos retrieves licensed legislation, shows the portion it used, and names the gap when the corpus does not cover the question. Research assistance, not legal advice.
Answers are built from retrieved excerpts. When retrieval cannot find an on-point source, Nomos says so instead of inventing statutory content.
Analysis is kept apart from Sources. You see the Act name and the portion, so you can open the underlying text and verify it yourself.
Each country is its own corpus. A South African question is never answered from American law.
Nomos does not scrape SAFLII for production retrieval. Judgment corpora stay off until provenance is clear. Legislation is official or licensed.
The product requires a signed-in session. Session cookies are HttpOnly and Secure. Marketing pages stay public. Firm SSO is planned later.
SOC 2 is in progress. Nomos does not yet hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001. Coverage for each country is listed below, including what is not in the corpus.
Coverage
Nomos currently provides legal research coverage across South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Germany, and New Zealand.
Coverage varies by jurisdiction and source. Where legislation or legal materials are not currently included, Nomos identifies those limitations rather than implying broader coverage.
